What does 'Fireplace Heating' mean?

Find out what Fireplace Heating means. Fireplace Heating is explained by Tim Hill - author of Buying Property in Poland

Fireplace Heating

This is not quite as straightforward as it sounds. If you see the term 'Fireplace Heating' on a description you might be forgiven for thinking there is one fireplace in the house and that's your lot.

However the term refers to the fireplace and the warm air ducts which are built around the chimney and which distribute warm air to the other rooms within the house or the building.

As such it is normal for a house to simply have one fireplace in the reception room but for this to also act as a kind of central heating system for all the rooms.
