Why are some small houses in the same area much cheaper than others?

Answer

Sometimes it's difficult to see just from photographs why there can be such a difference but 99% of the time it boils down to this:

Some houses are built for summer use only (known as recreational houses) while others are for year round use because they have much thicker, insulated walls for the winter months.
