José, Reyes and their daughter Julía are good friends of ours from Vecindario. Come August when the majority of Las Palmas migrate to the warmer climes of the south, they make the reverse journey. To San Andrés and peace or “tranquilidad” as Reyes tells me whilst adopting the guru stance.

In truth, there’s not a lot to do in ´San An´ as nobody else calls it. Which is its appeal to José and co. Everybody needs to switch off sometimes.
